MFC’s commitment to women’s football is one of the hallmarks of its brand. And the close relationship it has maintained for years with the Norwegian Football Federation is one of its greatest professional satisfactions. Taking these factors into account, the Norwegian women’s national team will train at Estepona Football Centre in two stages to prepare for two high-level friendly matches against some of the best women’s teams in the world, which will take place at the Ciudad de La Línea Municipal Stadium. The key dates will be 28 October, when they face Japan, and 1 December, when they take on Denmark.
Both matches will be open door.
These matches offer Norway an ideal opportunity to try out tactical variations, assess emerging players and strengthen their team against two sides with contrasting styles. Japan, ranked eighth in the world, will bring speed and technique to the table, while Denmark, ranked fourteenth in the FIFA rankings, will bring physical strength and defensive discipline. All this will take place in the ideal setting of La Línea, with the support of the local crowd and the necessary infrastructure to ensure that Norway is in optimal condition for these two important matches.
