First Spanish teams to begin their pre-season training at MFC

As the penultimate week of July approaches, the first Spanish teams are arriving to carry out their pre-season training at MFC. Joining them are a team from England and another from Saudi Arabia, making up the quartet of sides.

Unión Deportiva Las Palmas. Founded in 1949 following the merger of five clubs from Gran Canaria, it is one of the historic teams in Canarian football. It has been LaLiga runner-up and is renowned for its commitment to developing home-grown talent. Real Mallorca. Founded in 1916, it is one of the most iconic clubs in the Balearic Islands. It has won one Copa del Rey and has competed in European competitions, including a European Cup Winners’ Cup final. York City Football Club. Founded in 1922, this historic English club represents the city of York. It is renowned for its strong local roots and its memorable FA Cup appearances against top-flight teams. Al Qadshia Women. The women’s section of Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadshia FC, it is part of the growth of women’s football in the country. The team competes in the top national leagues and reflects the club’s commitment to the development of women’s sport.
