Seattle Sounders FC has emerged as the resounding winner of the Leagues Cup final against Leo Messi’s Inter Miami CF. The event, held at Lumen Field (Seattle), ended with a clear 3-0 victory over the pink-clad team from Florida.
The Leagues Cup is an international competition between clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States and Canada and Liga MX in Mexico. Launched in 2019, it has evolved into an official and key event in the CONCACAF club calendar.
Seattle Sounders FC, officially founded in 2007 and joining MLS in 2009, is one of the most successful and representative clubs in North American soccer. Based in Seattle, Washington, the team has established itself as a benchmark in MLS thanks to its track record, its connection with its fans, and its ability to compete internationally.
At MFC, we are very proud of Seattle Sounders’ victory, as they held their preseason training at our Marbella Football Center facilities last January. For three consecutive years now, the Washington State team has placed its trust in us as a strategic partner and the leading brand in the field of preseason training and training camps for elite soccer teams from around the world.
With the 2026 World Cup to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the growth of soccer in North America is unstoppable. At MFC, we have always been clear that the union of MLS and its teams with one of the best high-performance centers in the world symbolizes the globalization of soccer and the constant pursuit of excellence in a unique environment such as that offered by MFC, with its excellence and professionalism.
