Marbella Week of Football 2026: MFC once again takes centre stage as a showcase for international football

Marbella Week of Football 2026 presents a new opportunity for MFC to consolidate its position as one of the leading international destinations for grassroots and youth football.

The event focuses on international youth football, with the aim of bringing together the sport’s future stars on the Costa del Sol. This year, Marbella Week of Football will feature men’s Under-19 and Under-18 national teams, transforming Marbella into a true hub for world football for several days.

Norway, the USA, Wales, Belgium, England and Northern Ireland in the U-19 category, and Norway, the USA, the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland in the U-18 category, will be the participating teams in this edition.

All football fixtures are now available in the ‘Matches’ section and on our social media channels.

The Under-18 and Under-19 categories are crucial stages in a player’s development. For the participating teams, these matches serve to gauge the standard of their most promising young players and prepare for future international competitions.

The presence of young footballers from different countries makes each edition much more than just a competition. Players, coaches, family members and delegations find in the MFC the ideal setting to combine top-level sport, training and a stay on the Costa del Sol.

Furthermore, hosting this type of event reinforces Marbella’s image as a destination specialising in sports tourism. For the 2025 edition, the City Council estimated a direct economic impact of around 600,000 euros and approximately 2,700 hotel overnight stays linked to the arrival of international delegations, teams and visitors.

These figures explain why events such as the Marbella Week of Football are significant in ways that go far beyond sporting results. The arrival of teams and supporters helps to generate business for hotels, restaurants, shops and businesses linked to sports tourism.
