MFC presents the City of La Línea Trophy with a thrilling clash between Real Betis Balompié and Olympique de Lyon

This Friday, 24 July, at 12.30 pm, the official presentation of the City of La Línea Trophy took place.

The event was attended by the mayor of La Línea de la Concepción, José Juan Franco, and the CEO of MFC, Andrés Roldán, who outlined all the details of the match and highlighted the sporting and promotional impact that hosting this tournament will have on the town.

The mayor, José Juan Franco, emphasised the importance of continuing to host top-level sporting events: “The City of La Línea Trophy once again puts our city on the international football map. It is an opportunity to raise our profile, boost the local economy and offer fans a top-class spectacle featuring two highly prestigious clubs.”

For his part, the CEO of Marbella Football Centre, Andrés Roldán, highlighted the collaboration between the various institutions in making this type of event possible: “MFC is proud to be involved in organising an event of this calibre. Our aim is to continue bringing the best international football to Andalusia and to establish this tournament as a key fixture in the European pre-season calendar.”

The participation of Real Betis Balompié and Olympique de Lyon guarantees a match of the highest sporting calibre, in which both sides will continue their pre-season preparations ahead of the start of the new season.

This official presentation will mark the start of the 34th edition of the Ciudad de La Línea Trophy, a competition that continues to establish itself as a highlight of the summer football calendar and which once again brings together top-flight teams in a superb sporting setting.
