The 2026 summer season once again establishes MFC as one of the leading international destinations for professional football teams’ pre-season training.
As summer draws to a close, MFC takes stock of a few months marked, once again, by the presence of major clubs from Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Among the summer’s key participants was Mexico’s Club América, which chose Marbella Football Center as the venue for its pre-season training in June, reinforcing MFC’s international standing and its ability to host clubs from other continents.
In European football, teams such as Real Betis, Coventry City, Orlando Pirates, Al Fateh, AFC Wimbledon and Swindon Town have relied on MFC’s various centres to carry out their pre-season training camps. This international representation demonstrates the diversity and scope of the MFC project.
Football from the Middle East has also played a prominent role. Al Ettifaq, Al Fateh, Al Ittihad, Al Arabi and Al Nassr Women, amongst others, have chosen MFC’s facilities to undertake their respective pre-season training camps. They have been joined by Johor Darul Ta’zim, one of the leading lights of Asian football.
Spanish football has once again made a strong showing. Real Mallorca and UD Almería held their pre-season training camps at MFC, whilst Real Mallorca and UD Las Palmas also chose centres within the network to prepare for the new season.
One of the summer’s highlights was also the visit by Real Madrid Women, who chose Marbella Football Center to prepare for the new season, confirming MFC’s commitment to elite women’s football.
But MFC’s summer has not been limited to training camps. Over the past few months, the company has also organised numerous high-level friendly matches, giving fans on the Costa del Sol the chance to enjoy watching some of the best teams in international football. These included matches featuring clubs such as Real Betis, UD Almería, Málaga CF, Al Ittihad, Al Arabi and Real Madrid Women.
