Ahead of the start of a new season, Orlando Pirates, Celtic Glasgow, Ettifaq Club, Al Fateh, AFC Wimbledon, Swindon Town and Al Nassr Women have chosen MFC as the venue for their respective pre-season training camps.
Orlando Pirates, one of South Africa’s most historic and successful clubs, with a rich tradition at both national and continental level. Celtic Glasgow, a leading light in Scottish and European football, renowned for its rich history, its supporters and an extensive list of honours. Ettifaq Club, a historic Saudi Arabian club, known for its commitment to developing talent and its established position in the Saudi Pro League. Al Fateh, Saudi league champions in the 2012/13 season, have established themselves as a competitive and constantly improving side. AFC Wimbledon, founded by its own supporters in 2002, represents one of the most inspiring projects in English football following the relocation of the former Wimbledon FC. Meanwhile, Swindon Town, founded in 1879, has a long tradition in English football and was the first club to secure promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
Furthermore, Al Nassr Women’s have established themselves as one of the leading lights of women’s football in Saudi Arabia. With a project that is constantly growing and a clear commitment to developing talent, the club continues to prepare for new challenges at MFC.
