From the week of 3 August, one of MFC’s most special teams, Málaga CF, and another with aspirations to continue growing, UD Ibiza, will begin their pre-season training at MFC.
Málaga CF, founded in 1904 as Club Deportivo Málaga and the successor to the historic Club Atlético Malagueño, has competed in the Primera División for many years. Its most successful period came between 2011 and 2013, when it competed in the UEFA Champions League and reached the quarter-finals. Last year, it returned to the Primera División.
For its part, UD Ibiza was founded in 2015 with the aim of representing the island of Ibiza in professional football. In just a few years, it achieved several promotions to reach the Second Division, becoming one of the fastest-growing sports projects in Spanish football. Although its history is much more recent than that of Málaga CF, the club continues to work to consolidate its position and keep growing.
