The Alicante town of La Nucía hosted the La Nucía International Tournament U19 this week, a prestigious international tournament that brought together some of Europe’s most outstanding women’s under-19 teams.
The tournament was held between 3 and 6 March at the Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano and the La Nucía Football Center and Meliá Villaitana Football Center pitches, establishing the town as a leading international destination for football and sports tourism.
Six national teams participated in this edition: Norway, Sweden, France, Italy, Germany and Denmark, who played a series of highly competitive matches as part of their preparation for upcoming international competitions.

Norway 2–0 Denmark
France 1–1 Italy
Germany 0–1 Sweden
Second day – 6th March
Norway 1–2 France
Denmark 3–0 Sweden
Italy 0–1 Germany
The competition has once again provided an excellent development platform for young European football talent, allowing national teams to measure their competitive level in a professional, high-performance environment.
